A subsidiary of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange Group (the GSX) and one of the largest fund administrators in Gibraltar, Juno Services has just announced the appointment of Frederick Kanyike as its new CEO.

Kanyike brings 20 years of financial and accounting experience gained in both developing and developed economies. He has worked within a range of sectors including IT, oil and gas, offshore wealth management, fund management, venture capital and private equity. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and has worked in Guernsey for Credit Suisse (Guernsey) Limited as Head of Central Functions and for State Street (Guernsey) as Head of Client Service Management.

In the GSX’s news release, Frederick Kanyike commented on his appointment, saying:  “Juno Services is a core pillar of the GSX Group. As part of the Group’s efforts to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the blockchain industry, I look forward to building on Juno Service’s successes to date, while working with an experienced and dedicated team.”

Juno Services was established following the acquisition of Grant Thornton Fund Administration Limited and the business of Vista Fund Services Limited. The company is a licensed provider of fund services, fiduciary services, nominee services, corporate services, and other potential business solutions, and includes blockchain as well as traditional companies. It is licensed and regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

Also quoted in the GSX’s news release, Nick Cowan, Managing Director of the GSX Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Frederick Kanyike to GSX Group as CEO of Juno Services. With a stellar track record across a number of key leadership positions, Kanyike brings a wealth of experience that will power the next phase of growth for Juno Services.”

Juno Services forms part of the GSX Group which includes the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX) and the Blockchain Innovation Centre (BIC). The GSX Group has taken on a leadership role in facilitating and encouraging mass adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies and in establishing new industry standards for the blockchain industry. It is working as part of global initiatives to drive forward the adoption of best practices and institutional grade standards to token sales and the growing crypto economy.
